Today the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially
for families of color. With your help, March of Dimes is ensuring all pregnant moms have access to care,
addressing inequity in maternal health and strengthening families across America.
Each year thousands of moms and babies deal with complications from pregnancy and
preterm birth.
- More than 700 women die each year from pregnancy-related causes, and the CDC reports
that 60 percent are preventable.
