The ColoradoArtWeekend.com art festival season continues next weekend June 10 and 11 with the brand new Highlands Art Festival in the great north Denver neighborhood of The Highlands. www.HighlandsArtFestival.com

Times: 10 am to 5 pm Each Day

Along with the 120 fine artists who will be showing painting, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, and more, we are also excited to share the many special events at the Festival: The ColoradoArtWeekend.com artist awards ceremony, our 2 $1000 art festival shopping spree drawings at 3 pm Saturday and Sunday, and a special performance by Gregg Hansen's "Djembe Orchestras of Colorado".

The festival will also have a kids art area, several food trucks, an emerging artist section, and the new "Gourmet Alley" collection of vendors selling tasty treats!

All 9 of the ColoradoArtWeekend.com Artist Award winners will be exhibiting and present for the Artist Award ceremony at 2:30 pm June 10th. “Master Artist” award winner Peter Freischlag, Mixed Media Outstanding Innovator award winner Marilyn Quigley, as well as the 7 other “Distinguished Excellence“ category award winners including California sculptor Charles Sherman and ex-high steel worker turned artist Ray Goodluck.

At 3 pm on Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday, the Highlands Art Festival will be giving away a $1000 art festival shopping spree!
How do you get a ticket? * Come to the festival and simply ask any artist for a free drawing ticket.
What do I do with the ticket? * Put your ticket "Stub in the tub!" on the steps of the Masonic Lodge Building.
What then? * Be present at 3 pm for the drawing each day.
A few things to remember. * You must be present to win, be 19 years or older, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY .. Your "stub in the tub" on Saturday June 10th is good for our 3 pm Sunday drawing as well!
