English speaking and/or Italians in Friesland????

Hi, I'm Ali. Born in the States and raised in Italy. Living in Friesland (close to Leeuwarden) now for a few years with my husband and now almost 6 month old baby. As my husband works at sea, it tends to get a bit lonely around here at times.... Was wondering if there are any other Italians and/or English speaking people around here. It's very difficult to find people and connect in this part of The Netherlands. Maybe we can start some sort of meetup and go drink coffee or if you're also moms/dads...we can do a playdate for the kids?? Don't know...anyways open for suggestions ...
