    It is sad to hear from you such a bad statements maybe due to a negative personal experience. I think it is slanted because of a personal temporary shipwreck, isn´t it?
    And from another point of view, portuguese people adore english culture and , generally, they can speak a really good english. So maybe your point of view is slanted by the disappointment. Portuguese people is really marvellous, maybe it is not so easy to get in touch with so quickly but they are really warmhearted and generous. From the other point, stupid people has no flag. Sometimes we have to let the time heals our wounds. If your children have portuguese blood I would consider it a big gift...if you raise them in a multicultural environment it will be really better for them, because the whole world will be their playground.
