Easter Lamb Trail at Blenheim Palace

Lavender the sheep has managed to misplace all 12 of her mischievous lambs somewhere in the Oxfordshire Palace's Walled Garden. As well as discovering where they're all hiding, visitors will have to track down each of them and identify lamb ringleader Basil.

Everyone who successfully finds them all and spots Basil will receive a small treat.

The Walled Gardens are a dedicated family area with plenty of fun outdoor games and activities for younger visitors to enjoy.

Hop aboard the Miniature Train, which runs every 30 minutes from the Palace Station, and enjoy al fresco dining at The Pizza Café.

The wider Blenheim estate is also the perfect destination for a great day out with its mix of ancient woodland, lakes, formal gardens and 'Capability' Brown-landscaped parkland.

There is a series of outdoor route options for visitors to explore within the Park and Gardens and a free audio guide for the Formal Gardens.

The walks range in length from under a mile to nearly five miles and incorporate the iconic Grand Bridge, the lake and the Queen Pool.

There's also a free 'walk and talk' audio tour set around the 18th century Baroque Palace, which includes the majestic Water Terraces, the Duke's Private Italian Garden, the tranquil Secret Garden with all of its hidden treasures and the beautifully delicate Rose Garden.

Animal fans will also love the new family-friendly 'Where's Wilf' trail to follow around the grounds. Wilf is the beloved dachshund of Blenheim Palace's historian, Antonia Keaney, and he loves to come for walks on the estate.

In his honour, there are 10 cartoon 'Where's Wilf?' boards to spot. Once they've all been found and the questions answered, visitors can collect a Where's Wilf badge.
