Heyford Sprint & Standard Duathlon 2020

Choose from either the sprint or standard distance:

Sprint distance: 5km run; 20km cycle; 2.5km run
Standard distance: 10km run; 40km cycle; 5km run

Set in the beautiful Cherwell Valley countryside, both distances utilise the base's runway, RAF taxiway and NATO taxiway and are therefore pancake flat, traffic-free and pretty much PB guaranteed!

When: Saturday 20 June 2020 at 09:30.

Where: Heyford Park, Upper Heyford, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX25 5HF.

Pricing: Standard - £55 Unaffiliated, £52 Affiliated (British Triathlon Federation), £0 Gold Members.
Sprint - £50 Unaffiliated, £47 Affiliated (British Triathlon Federation), £0 Gold Members.

Entry on the Day: Subject to a £5 surcharge (cash only, subject to availability).

Age Requirements: Participants must be aged 17 or over on the day of the race.

Registration: From 08:00 to 09:00. Participants will need to register no later than 30 minutes prior to their wave start time. Transition will be open from 08:30.

Race Packs: For collection at registration on the day only, nothing will be posted. Race packs will contain;

A race number bib and timing chip, to be worn throughout the run/cycle.
A smaller race number card and timing chip, to be attached to your bicycle handlebars.
British Triathlon Event Day Membership (if unaffiliated).

Preparation: Pre-race preparation;

Attach your race number to the top in which you will be running using the safety pins provided, it should be visible at all times.
Attach the smaller race number to your bicycle handlebars using the cable-ties provided and rack your bicycle in the transition area.
Take your remaining kit to the transition area for your pre-race briefing, 15 minutes prior to your wave start time.

Timing: Chip-timed.
