If you want to get residency in Uruguay, you have to make a proof of income, from an uy notary.
You have to show at least 500.- USD monthly.
It is possible to open a company to earn money. The easiest is the " unipersonal", the cost are about 300 USD, if you dont make it on your own.6 month later you have to show migrations, that your company is making more than 500.- USD monthly.
You can apply for residency without any working contract.
