The stories of the people who built Austin are brought to life in a groundbreaking collaboration and exhibit at the iconic Neill-Cochran House Museum. Explore race, gender and Austin’s history.

Black history is Austin's history and the Neill-Cochran House Museum serves as a backdrop to the story telling of black artisans who built Austin. As part of the exhibit, Jennifer R.Cumberbatch will perform a series of one-woman shows inspired by visual artist Ginger Geyer’s artwork. If These Walls Could Talk runs Jan. 15 through May 3 and includes art, performance and film. Guided tours available daily Wednesday through Sunday, and special events throughout the exhibit run.
