Hello,
I have just moved to Madrid and am looking to find the best live music venues. Back in the UK, I live in Glasgow which is renowned for its music culture. My taste is predominantly indie, but I would love to experience what Madrid has to offer in the way of Spanish music too.
I have already got tickets for Built to Spill at the Sala But tomorrow and hope there will be similar gigs coming up.
Will look forward to hearing your suggestions

I would suggest Cafe Berlin, it has nice live concerts every weekend. You can check the list from here: http://www.berlincafe.es/

If you're a fan of jazz, both El Junco and Cafe Populart have great quality live music. Cafe Populart has a live band play every evening (Mon-Sun), while El Junco tends to have one about 3-4 days a week.
