I just touch bottom with my situations days ago. I called to the German Embassy, they advice me to apply for a German visa, which in my case is for travel first time. I saw the application form and the there is different s fields where i can choose the way i want to travel... (work reasons, Tourist, Visit friends etc)
I d better go throw the whole stuff and bite soil, as we say here in Cuba.
    Again many thanks....

There is no EU-wide work permit, so you'd need a German national one.
That is only possible if there is no available EU citizen who can do the job (and needs to be hired preferentially). Tough, unless you are in IT, engineering, a medical profession or some other with a lack of skilled professionals.
Or you marry your German BF first - but I wouldn't rush it (you've done the mistake once!).

I have Cuban citizenship, but permission to remain here in Ireland under a reckonable renovation of my card. I will find it out if i am entitle to travel free within the Schengen countries, but i was hoping maybe to find a job once in Germany, and thus to apply for a residence. Is this correct?
    Thanks for your information.

I assume you have Cuban (or any other non-EU) citizenship.
Then most probably (but please check this with the Irish authorities who issued your visa) you are allowed free travel within Schengen countries for a limited time (usually 3 months). But in order to move to Germany, you need to apply for a German residence visa.
