Hi everyone,
i am moving next days to Voronezh nad have been there once for 2 days. Does anyone know whether there are expats in Voronezh and where and how they spent time in this city?

The way of spending time here depends on what your interests are. If are are fond of theatre then there are a lot to see here, especially Opera and Ballet theatre, also Drama theatre in the centre of the town, if you like watching movies then there are also many good cinemas, if you like discos, there are different night clubs also in the centre.
How is your relation with your collegues? If they are friendly enough they can show you everything and offer their help in showing you the town and so on.
How is your Russian? If you speak Russian I don't think you will have problems with contacting with people.
But I still want to warn you to be very careful with people who want to get too close to you, sometimes some of them want something from you like money or what so, try to be careful with trusting all the people. I think as everywhere in the world here are also some not very honest people. So don't trust all the people too much.

Hi Irina, thanks for replying. i moved here for work, i.e. will stay here for a long time. The main question is what to see here, how to spend time, get to know people with whom to sepnd time etc. I also believe Voronezh is a nice city, although i have not seen anything yet except Plehanovskaya street)))

Hi, I live in Voronezh, I can't say exactly how expats live here, but there are many foreigh students studying here. And it also depends on your reason of moving here - whether it's for work or just for travel. Anyway Voronezh is a nice city, I hope you like it. Have a nice stay :)
