Apparitions of a monk been seen on the main staircase, a ghost of possibly a young boy, who is thought to be friendly but shy. East Yorkshire's Halsham House certainly lives up to its ghostly reputation.The house in the village of Halsham, in the heart of Holderness, which has been around since 1584 and was established by John Constable. The eerie building which has formally been a school, an alms house, a convent and a hospital.With twisted small corridors and a labyrinth of rooms and dark spaces, it's no wonder people feel uneasy about staying here. There is a distinct feeling someone's eyes are watching every move you make.Join us as we investigate who or what haunts this amazing place.There is a limit of 20 places available for this event.
Also please notice there is no alcohol or drugs to be taken on the night anyone found with these or under the influence of these will be asked to leave by our security staff.We will stop for a break at 11.30 for canapés and refreshments which will be provided.
