A spectacular orchestral concert celebrating the music of one of the world's most legendary bands, The Beatles.

The Beatles Philharmonic Tribute is a spectacular orchestral concert of pure classical interpretations celebrating the Music of the World’s Greatest Legendary Band The Beatles. A beautiful production that takes you down memory lane!

The Beatles Philharmonic Tribute has indeed something for everyone, from Beatles’ fans to classical lovers alike. A musical marriage that combines dramatic orchestral arrangements, imaginatively fused together with rock and pop, but in keeping with the true spirit and style of The Beatles.

The first-ever star-studded concert was held at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2010 with world renowned artists Dame Shirley Bassey, crooner Tony Christie and Soul Queen Beverly Knight. Other exquisite performances were by the sweet sounding Susan Black and rock soul legend Lenny Zakatek (studio vocalist for The Alan Parsons Project and lead singer with Gonzalez) as well as with a special appearance by Darius Campbell (2010 winner of Popstar to Operastar).

The evening will further be complimented by the spectacular Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Amadeus choir, all under the direction of conductor Maestro Alan Chircop. The grand finale, brought the orchestra, choir and guest soloists together for the climax of a stunning night of music.

Orchestral arrangements by Wayne Grima. Produced by Rocco Buonvino.

Proceeds in aid of the Fondazzjoni Qalb it-Tfal, a charity which helps the Neonatal Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei Hospital.
