hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

good to know your mind is at rest now.. just patiently wait for the result! hope it will be positive.. I just applied for a Visit-A-Friend visa for 21 days last Feb.18 and still waiting for the result. this is my 2nd application though.. wishing for the thebest for all of us <3

Hope you’re getting over with the freezing days, still in winter right:) Yes I always look on the site that you had told to me, still in process. I lodge my application last December 12, 2012, then received in Brussels on January 18. Now still waiting for the result(cross-fingers) :) Could it possible to use your driving license there? Oh, you have ID now, did you get dual citizen? :)Just keep in believing and praying and the rest will be fine. God Bless you Angel. :)

my husband have email the helpdesk and they replied immediately they have said that my papers are still on process it, there is no decision yet to be done by ministry of brussels, and also glineaur have email the consul in belgian embassy in manila she have said that my papers are on still process... we wait for the result in the following months..
I am at peace now i thought it was a refusal im glad on the process still... hope edz lolos i can have soonest the result....

Hi Sheena A. How are you.? I am here in belgium last december pa 2012.
How's your visa? Did you saw the site that I shared here, to check the status of your visa?I heard now that the embassy in manila and in here are more strict.
They've even add another requirements for the new applicants.
Had my ID here good for 5 yrs and my insurances applied by my husband and now
my driver's license will get it on friday. Our marriage was recognize here already same date
when we get married last yr in the Manila.
All things work together for good.

Holding an ORANGE card and need to leave for Manila

Hello everyone. I am now in Belgium and holding an orange card. Me and my husband need to leave for PHILIPPINES on the end of next month. I am aware that holding an orange card doesn't allow me to leave for 6 months until they issue me the F card which would be on June. Is there anybody here who had the same situation? And if I go back to Manila, what are the consequences and risks I would take? Would I need to apply for a reunification visa to get back with my husband? Responses would be much appreciated and thank you all in advance. It would be a big help.

you have to call to the embassy to fallow up your application,,ganyan kasi.ginagawa nmin ng bf ko tumatawag xa sa embassy sa kanila at tumatawag dn aq sa embassy
anyway..march 7 flight ko..xcited na q..p
sana maaprroved din visa mo ms jenieve..wag ka lng mawlan ng pag aasa..keep on praying

I think that means your papers are being evaluated in Brussels already.. you really have to wait for the result. it's 6weeks to 6months for the result of Fiancee visa i guess

i felt very sad and worried because when i check on the visa info result, it appears like this 'Pending receipt of the documents the visa application support by the Belgian diplomatic / consular post by diplomatic bag is sent'. i havent have any idea what is this means. pls help if u have any idea, is this refusal or wat?
