Saying hello :-)but need assistance?

Hi there Nice to meet you all. I am new to this forum and to be honest particularly joined in the hope that I could get some information in how to find an old friend that was living or from The Hague.
However, now that I am on the site I realize it could be beneficial anyway in making new friends :-)

I have tried the obvious ways to search for this person like skype or facebook and google but come up with nothing. I am afraid I only have his name and where he was from (The Hague) and the year he was born and what his job was at the time.

I just wondered if anyone could tell me or give me any tips on how to pursue this search. Thank-you for looking.
