Writing on behalf of a friend who is considering settling on Sao Miguel, are there any English speaking ladies looking for friends/social contacts on Sao Miguel. Our friend is a lady of a certain age, enjoys swimming, sight seeing, chatting and walking. She has my husband and me on the island but having access to a broad English-speaking social network is an important determinant on whether she is going to up sticks and settle on the island. If there are any lonely people or folks just looking to broaden their social network, please make yourself known.
