I know this is last minute but I have tickets to travel to Sao Migue but I have a huge layover in Terceira before I depart late in the evening for my final destination. I arrive early in the morning on the January 11. I have never had the chance of seeing this island before, and was wondering if anybody would be interested in showing me around. I could buy your lunch and even pay for your gasoline for your hospitality. I don't trust the cabs and It would suck just hanging around the airport all day.
