Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Chilwell, Notts August 2023

Funhouse Comedy returns to The Garage, Chilwell (Barton's) Nottingham on Friday August 18th for another night full of laughter.

Topping the bill the very likeable Paul Pirie, who gave up acting to start his comedy career. At the time he was living with his Gran, having given away the keys to his flat in a pub quiz! Originally part of a comedy-improv group called Dance Monkey Boy, he has appeared on TV, Radio and Film and has become one of the biggest Scottish acts on the UK comedy circuit. Full of energy his side-splitting one-liners never fail to enthral the audience.

Opening the night will be the effortlessly engaging Dominic Woodward, telling hilarious stories about his everyday life and bringing to life the quirky people he meets. His insightful humorous observations and sharp material are delivered with a somewhat relaxed air.

Completing the line-up is the personable Wilson with his amusing crowd interaction, mixture of sharp observations, pinpoint accents and curveball one liners.

Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson, whose laid-back storytelling has audiences hanging on his every word; his anecdotes are relatable and certain to have people in hysterics.
