Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of fun and laughter to David Lloyd Lincoln on Saturday May 11th.

Topping the bill is the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition! Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona; his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.

Opening the night will be Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton & Barry Cryer. He has completely re-invented his act several times. In a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing.

Completing the line-up is Kevin Dewsbury talented comedian and actor, who can be seen in the recently released film, ‘Destination Dewsbury’. His material is a variety of storytelling, observation and one- liners. He has the ability to mimic most accents, which adds profundity to his material. Although from Cheshire, he is often mistaken as being from Yorkshire due to his ridiculous northern accent. Kevin has toured the UK and has also been the support act for Michael McIntyre, Omid Djalili and Russell Howard.

Compere for the night will be the energetic and affable Spiky Mike.
