Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Lutterworth October 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at The Wycliffe Rooms, Lutterworth on Saturday October 7th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is Rob Rouse, ever exuberant and recognizable from his many TV appearances including ‘Upstart Crow’, ‘8 Out Of Ten Cats’, John Bishop’s Only Joking’, ‘Celebrity Juice’, ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’ and ‘The Friday Night Project’, as well as making a guest appearance on ‘Coronation Street’. With his cheeky banter and extremely funny tales, he’s always one step ahead of his audience’s expectations and keeps them enthralled with his comedic storytelling.

Opening the night will be comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’, ‘Live at the Palladium’ and ‘Max and Paddy’. Amusing the crowd with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everyone.

Also appearing is plummy, funny and firey, Diane Spencer, an award-winning comedian with a rapidly growing YouTube channel of over 10K subscribers and 1 million views. She has performed worldwide including The Laugh Factory and world famous Improv (LA), received critical acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe festival and appeared on several TV programmes including Red Light Comedy Live from Amsterdam.

Compere for the night will be James Cook with his sharp tongue and dry sense of humour he previously worked as a presenter on commercial radio stations, went on air with A-ha and presented Lenny Henry with his ‘Walk of Fame’.
