Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Southwell June 2018

STAR OF ITV'S CHASE COMES TO SOUTHWELL.

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Saracens Head, Southwell for another night of fun and laughter.

Headlining is International stand-up comedian Paul Sinha, who has appeared on ITV's 'Tonight at The London Palladium' and is currently one of the 'chasers' on ITV's quiz show The Chase and writer/host/presenter of Paul Sinha's History Revision on Radio 4. The eloquent and intelligent ex-GP has found the perfect balance of mixing politics with comedy. His one-liners are delivered with the crisp clarity of cut glass and engaging warmth, creating a hugely entertaining and fascinating set.

Supporting will be producer, director, writer and comic Bennett Arron. The only Jewish/Welsh comedian on the circuit he has supported Ricky Gervais on tour. Also a trained actor he takes command of the stage and his humour veers between obsessed anxiety and natural occurrences, with his contagious laugh he lights up any room.

Also appearing will be Pete Teckman who was crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-deprecating and observational humour. He personifies the taking of difficult, painful situations in living and turning it into great comedy.

Completing the line-up is the musical Andy Stedman, with his wonderful mix of real life songs and storytelling.

Compere for the night will be the lively and amiable Spiky Mike.
