Team Micky Ward Charities Bike Run/BBQ

Bikes take off at 12:00 noon. Cost is $20 per bike/$10 passenger. Stops on the run will include the Last Resort in RI, Bellingham VFW, then back to The Italian Vets. The outdoor BBQ will begin around 3:00 PM with Jambag providing the music on the lawn THE THEME: The takeoff ceremony will focus on the many people the charity has helped over the years ... it will feature Ricky Robidoux with the National Anthem and other ceremonial events followed by a few words from Micky Ward.
THE CAUSE: Team Micky Ward Charities will be supporting the Morrell family whose son Cameron, 8 years old, is currently battling Leukemia. Cam has been hospitalized at Boston's Children Hospital since a few days after Easter and has just completed Bone Marrow Transplant.
