South Africans in the UAE

Hi all,

I am a native English teacher from South Africa. I am presently working in Kuwait and I am considering moving to one of the UAE states such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Fujairah. I have been to Abu Dhabi and Dubai before on holiday. Can anybody tell me about their experiences in the UAE as a South African. What are the good experiences and what are the bad experiences? Is it worth the move?

  i know its an old topic but i can tell there are not racist, i have been here for around 4 years and not even one case about racist.

  Well.actually UAE is very friendly towards white people or those who are from foreign countries except pakistan afghanistan india or Bangladesh...I have been there and it's really a cool place. ..good luck. .
