    Hi everybody!

I am an spanish guy who also speaks english.

I am living since February in Antibes (actually I first moved to Juan Les Pins and now I am in Antibes-centre ville) because I am working in Sophia Antipolis in a company settled there.

I just work in english so my french is still more or less poor, and I also don't have as much friends apart from workmates as I would like (people normally are travelling back home or just spends a couple of weeks here) so I have all my weekends with nobody else to join.

I would love to meet people around Alps Maritimes and I also would like to be able to practice french.

Drop me a line whenever you wanted :)

    C-ya
    Carlos

I'm hoping that since you posted this in March you've already found the answer.

Most employers will require you to have a certificate demonstrating your French fluency by earning a minimum of 750 points on the TFI exam which can be taken at any Alliance Francaise in the United States.

Also, you will need to have your high school and college degrees officially translated as France does not recognize non-EU diplomas. It is up to the individual employer to decide whether or not to accept your non-EU degrees.

Private schools (mostly Catholic in France) and primary education establishments will be less rigid in their requirements.

    Good luck!
