Australian girl looking to work in the Us !!

Hi, I'm 22 from Australia looking into getting a USA working visa to work in the states in special effects makeup for film industry or in a real estate which I haven't as yet done a course for but am looking into it.. I'm hoping to find work in 1 of those fields before I make the big decision to go through the processes.

Does anyone have any advice..?
