Boswell Book Festival

There will be appearances from Michael Morpurgo, Great British Sewing Bee's Esme Young, Troon's very own Andrew Cotter (accompanied by the UK's favourite Labradors Olive and Mabel), celebrity hairdresser Sam McKnight, originally from New Cumnock, Queen of Crime Val McDermid, TV Icon Susannah Constantine, Don Paterson and legendary performer Barbara Dickson. Subjects range from Ukraine, art, Flora MacDonald, Israel/Palestine occupation, Putin, Britain's Brainiest Family (Haldanes of Cloan) and Mary Queen of Scots to the memories of Pater Faulding, a forensic search and rescue expert. From Ayrshire is celebrity hairdresser Sam McKnight who has worked with Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Naomi Campbell amongst others and also Formula 1 journalist and presenter Lee McKenzie.
