LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN CHILWELL, NOTTINGHAM

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at The Garage, Chilwell (Barton’s) Nottingham, on Friday October 16th for a socially-distanced night of laughter.

Topping the bill is the compelling and frank comedian and writer, Daliso Chaponda who came 3rd in ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ in 2017 and then landed himself his own stand-up comedy show on BBC Radio 4. Hailing from Malawi, where his father is a government minister he started his comedy career in Canada with the much-admired one man show ‘Feed This Black Man’. With his ability to talk about anything from politics and religion to romance, he amuses his audiences with his distinctive accent and unique outlook on the world.

Opening the show will be winner of ‘Dave’s Best Joke of The Fringe’ in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on ‘Mock The Week’ and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and warm disposition he keeps the crowd hanging on to every word.

Completing the line-up is the fantastic El Baldiniho, who recently appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, with his individual style of comedy magic and mind-reading.

Compere will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
