what are the things you miss the most while living abroad?
until a few days ago I would have said oreos - but thank god you can get them here as well! :)

I remeber when..... 15yrs ago.. we all got exciteded by kit- kat arriving in Greece,,...
Since then I`v leard to cook/make everything from scratch.....

She Jane, used to live here in Thessaloniki with me... but 4 yrs ago she left and went back to the U.K....
My husband ,son, mother in law all miss her also.. it`s like the good one left and now they only have me...just kidding.. but she was always the good twin.....!
I have friends.. but that`s never the same... you know what I mean... People ask stupid questions.. such as.. "what`s it like to be a Twin.."? my answer is "what`s it like to be a Mono."?... let them think of it....!

What I miss from is to be near my family in hard times. This I miss most. Everything else - food, drinks, seing friends is not so significant than not being able to be near your relatives when really needed.

Since I’m living in Italy about 6 years now what I have miss a lot about my country my family brothers, Mather that she gone (dead)1 month ago, (gad place her). and the most triple thing that I could not go to see her be cause of work ,at this point you feel how far you are from your home land ,and the things you miss . and how match you need to be there, in my country you can miss every thing about it because we levies every thing about it ,the street full of people day and night , the hot weather ,and the sun all the year long, really every thing the worm of the people, laud voices around thing makes you feel you are alive, if you have been in Egypt you will know I mean.

I'm not missing anything in Spain ... except about 30 times a day when I need to get something done. Then I miss a bit of American efficiency ...
Janosch - I DO have quite a few friends at home but I don't sit around lamenting about how I miss them because I actually made quite a few new friends in Spain!
