What is the Roughcut Diamonds Tour, it is a loose collection of players hardened by a lifetime of playing out their musical passion away from the polish of commerciality, true to themselves while mining their earthy art.

With the legends starting to leave middle earth, these talented journeymen are now coming into their full light as the true torchbearers of the cultural jewel that is live rock and roll.

Willie Nile is a legend in NYC with superstar fans who are creating a documentary to sing the praises of this 75 going on 54, post-punk troubadour and his killer band of elite CBGB style touring all-stars. Singing Willie's documentary praises are Bono, Springsteen, Pete Townshend and Lucinda Williams. Nile has released a dozen albums this century that have garnered critical raves while developing a killer live show of real deal rock in a world where that intensity is receding.

David Gogo was once the next big thing on the blues scene, blessed by Stevie Ray Vaughan and encouraged to dedicate his life to the rockin' blues. Gogo became a significant player on the live scene from his island base of Nanaimo. 30 years later after 6 Juno nominations, multiple Maple Leaf Blues awards and opening slots with the biggest names in rock and blues, from the Hip and ZZ Top to Buddy Guy and Albert Collins.
