Does your body love to move? Looking to find balance and quiet a busy mind?

This class links the basic postures of Hatha yoga into a well-balanced flow of poses. You can expect a slow-moving flow of postures to stretch and strengthen your body, deep breathing, and meditation. Different variations of the poses will be provided to accommodate all bodies and abilities.

You'll enhance the body's natural function using deep breathing, mindful stretching, and supported balancing. And you'll connect with your breath and your body to find peace and balance.

Everyone is welcome, including beginners and those with limited flexibility. Admission is by donation. Preregistration is required.

Information:

This open air class is held on the grass at Welch Strip. Meet near the intersection of Tatlow Ave and Maplewood Cres. Admission is by donation. Preregistration is required.

Plan to bring your yoga mat and wear layers. A blanket can keep you warm during shivasana so you can relax more deeply. Bring your blocks and strap if these props support your practice.

The class will be cancelled in case of rain. Expect to receive a cancellation notification at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time.
