Arabic Lessons

Poslané v Fórum Rijád

Hi. I am looking for a place I can learn Arabic in Riyadh. Are there any language schools? Universities that offer courses? Private tutoring?

I am an English-speaking female with no previous experience with the language.

Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks!

I am a teacher of Arabic who has taught in different institutions in Riyadh.

Also ,I taught Arabic to many vips with different nationalities.
I start with the teaching the alphabet and how to pronounce them and use vowelizations in a perfect way.
I let evry letter applied in many different words.
I teach both modern and standard Arabic.
I provide in my class some vocabulary and grammaer rules, then the last half an hour
I revise what I have taught through revision and using daily life situation to help acquiring the language in a perfect way.

Practice makes perfect so I am interested in the quality of the learning not the quantity .

    Arabic Language Institute, Featured

King Saud University’s Arabic Language Institute (ALI) has announced that internationals working in Saudi Arabia are now eligible to enroll for Arabic as a Second Language (ASL) courses. The full-time ASL program has, until now, been reserved to foreign students, who are provided with scholarships for the program.

The program offers a full-time course during the day, targeting foreign professionals in need of vital language skills, and a similar evening program as well. Upon completion of the Arabic program, the international students will subsequently have an opportunity to pursue their studies at KSU colleges and universities.

The intensive ASL morning program is open to male students under the age of 25 years and will take place Saturday through Wednesday from 8 AM to 12 PM. It includes four levels, each level is to last one semester (15-17 weeks, 20 hours per week). It should be noted, however, that the international students will not be eligible for scholarships or receive any financial aid from KSU. Enrolment is limited and the application deadline for this semester is September 14, 2011.

Applications for the morning program can be electronically submitted at:

Young foreign professionals interested in the program, but holding day jobs, are encouraged to enroll in the evening courses, which are open to male and female applicants and to be held from 5 to 8 PM from Saturday to Monday. This program’s main focus will be on communication skills, particularly ones needed in workplaces such as embassies, hospitals, trading companies, etc.

The evening program requirements are as follows:
