Grand ReOpening Extravaganza Event at the Longview Yacht Club

Celebrating all that the Longview Yacht Club (LYC) has to offer! Come see the results of 20k lbs of raw steel and over 5,000 manpower hours it took to build Lake of the Pines best pier! A Ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 12pm! A kids station will teach about sailing and sailboats. Raffles sold to win sailboat rides and a sunset dinner cruise. Enjoy the music and food trucks and learn more about LYC events. The LYC was founded in 1978 for sailing/yachting enthusists in East Texas. Year round activities include a balance of racing, cruising, and social events. If you like to learn more, LYC offers: sailing classes, boater safety seminars, racing clinics, a You Make It You Sail It race for youths, and much more.
