Mead and Honey Tasting at Weathered Rock

Come join us for a cozy little tasting of several amazing meads (honey wine) and honey samples. In addition to our own handcrafted mead, we carry several other local mead varieties and also very exotic ones from as far away as Italy and Africa. Amazing honey varieties too! Honey from northwest U.S. and beyond, we even have honey-in-the comb from Hungary!!! As a special treat, we will also be making a sample batch of Sima, a slightly alcoholic lemon mead that is drank on May 1 in FInland during the Vappu festival.
