Shoot Rounds for Rescues at Meridian Canine Rescue's 4th Annual Golf Tournament

Meridian Canine Rescue (MCR), a non-profit, no-kill canine rescue dedicated to giving homeless and owner-surrendered dogs a second chance, has organized its 4th Annual Golf tournament. This tournament is set to significantly impact the work MCR does to support its mission to save dogs' lives through storytelling, education, and its new EPIC Program. Their Education Project for Inmates and Canines (EPIC) pairs dogs in need with trained inmate handlers who will teach them valuable life skills.
This year's tournament will kick off at Lakeview Golf Club on Friday, September 22nd, with registration at 8:00 am, followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 am, and is brought to you by a local pet company, PetIQ, as their 'Top Dog' sponsor. During the tournament, participants can shoot for a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize, closest to the pin, and long drive. After the tournament, an award ceremony, luncheon, and auction will be held. MCR can have up to 128 golfers and is always looking to add more sponsors and golfers to support their tournament. Other sponsors to date include 1st Federal Savings Bank, IBEW Local 291, Saucerman Construction, and many more.
