Special Abilities of North Texas Presents Denim and Pearls
30th Anniversary Gala

Lewisville, TX - Special Abilities of North Texas, a leading nonprofit organization in Denton County dedicated to serving adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is thrilled to announce Denim and Pearls, an extraordinary gala celebrating 30 years of dedicated service to Denton County citizens. The event will take place on Saturday, August 26th, at 6:30 pm at the new Courtyard by Marriott Flower Mound.

Special Abilities of North Texas has been unwavering in its commitment to providing exceptional care, training, and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, empowering them to thrive in life, family, and the community. Denim and Pearls marks a significant milestone in raising awareness and generating funds to ensure individuals with disabilities are embraced, included, and granted equal rights and opportunities. The event aims to raise $150,000 to enhance program capacity and reduce the waiting list, which currently has over 70 people eagerly waiting to join.

This gala promises an enjoyable night with a savory dinner, an open bar, and live and silent auctions that will offer an opportunity to acquire unique coveted items. This fun event will also serve as a platform for networking and uniting like-minded individuals who share a passion for making a difference in the lives of overlooked populations within the community.
