Van Gogh Sunflower Paintout and Auction

Tubac is Blooming Village-Wide for Sunflower Madness Specials, Paintout and Auction in support of Tubac Village Artists Association and Lowe House Project Artist Residency.

Real sunflowerss growing throughout the village of Tubac will be the inspiration for plein air artists and buyers of their paintings created during the the third annual Van Gogh Sunflower Paintout, Auction and Reception to be held September 28, 2019 at the Lowe House Project artist residency at 14 Calle Iglesia, Old Town Tubac. Thoughout the day, Tubac shops, galleries and restaurants are getting in on the fun and are offering "Sunflower Madness" specials and discounts at locations where artificial (and some real) sunflowers will be "blooming." Tige Reeve will be performing live during the auction and reception.The Silent auction and reception start at 1 00 p.m.. Bidding ends at 3:30 p.m. Bidders need to be present to win. Proceeds from the sale of paintings will benefit the participating artists and the non-profit Tubac Village Artists Association and the Lowe House Project artist residency.
