Bernin' to the Beach Bike Ride

Ride takes place on Sat, Oct. 28th, starting at 8am and finishing around 2pm (includes lunch).

Our 8th Annual 40-mile bicycle ride from New Bern, NC to Atlantic Beach, safely in a police escort. Bicyclists pedal at a casual 12mph pace with 2 rest stops along the way where volunteers cheer them on and hydrate and feed them very well!

Finish line is at the Doubletree of Atlantic Beach where lunch is provided and there is a cash bar for cocktails/beers/sodas. Event participants and volunteers can stay that Saturday night at a discount given by the hotel. Call registration of Doubletree of AB at (252) 240-115 with Discount code: B2B

A return ride ticket can be purchased for $20 for you and your bike to be transported back to New Bern. Please add this ticket option along with your ride registration. Expect an ETA back to New Bern at 3pm.

Friday, October 27 is our Kick-Off Party with swag bag and t-shirt pick up, live music, and a meet and greet for all riders and volunteers. This fun pre-gaming is at Bruin in downtown New Bern (224 Middle Street) from 5pm-8pm.
