timeline for fiancee visa?

hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

    Yes they said no documents arrive yet. 1 month since I lodged my application.( Time so fast).I'll see next week. or By June I guess there will be a result.,It's raining here in Manila, I wanted to go out in mall of asia..huhuhuhu..
    yes, I have patience with this, meanwhile I just keep myself busy in the office( that's the one thing I am worried I was not able to submit my Certificate of Employment in the embassy that I am presently working.huhuhuhu..

    They said the documents didn't arrive yet? Hmmm...There might a problem with the courier service of the embassy (I think?). But that's ok. At least you know the reason why it's taking this long. More patience. ;)

    That's great then that you arrived safe. Now both of you are there already in BE. Hope I am the next one.. Yes, I called the embassy here no result yet. And my special friend in BE also sent email to Brussels, but no result yet, the documents was not yet arrive according to the replied email.
    Again need patience.(huhuhuhu)..Hopefully this week there will be a result.
    I really wanted to experience spring season..hehehe.. so that I can wear boots.hehehe..

    Hello ladies and Felipe! I just want to let you know that I'm already in BE. Finally! :) My travel was a nightmare (my flight to BRU was cancelled!) but anyway, I'm just glad that I arrived here safely. The weather is very cold for me. Brrrr! And to think, it's already spring! But I know this is only in the beginning. I'll get used to it soon.

    I saw that there are new people on this forum. Hello to you guys. :) Seems like the president of our organization was already able to answer your queries. That's good. ZD Pardo is the best! ;)

    And to Felipe, my dear. For sure next week there should be a result already. Let's stay positive, ayt? ;)

    Hi Rae F,

    As far as I know, if you are already married (with your Belgian fiance) in Philippines, then the visa you'll apply for is Family Reunification visa ~ which will take 3-6 months or more (depending on the case). But if not, and you both plan to get married in Belgium, then apply for fiancee visa ~which will take 6 weeks to 6 months (depending on the case as well). Another visa is cohabitation visa, which is a visa for living-in couple (without marriage) if you plan to just stay together and not get married (for this, you can check out other forum discussions for their experiences).     Does anyone have an idea regarding the spouse visa and if it's easier to obtain over the fiancee visa to Belgium?

    Hope everything will be fine with you girl. I was also applied, and now I am waiting for the result. I lodged my application last April 28,2011. Now I am waiting. I called up the embassy thsi afternoon. No result yet.
    By the way, how many days you planned to stay there?

    That's great then that you arrived safe. I guess this week Desert Vixen will have her flight.and on by June 2011 I will be the next one to fly.(i am dreaming again). Well, here I am fine, I called up the embassy this afternoon but no result yet. Need patience.hehehe..
    For Dutch I really wanted to learn that also. As it is very useful then..
