Celebrate HapPIER Holidays at Pier 39

PIER 39 is spreading Holiday cheer on San Francisco’s Waterfront! Join us for Premiere Night on Tuesday, November 26th as ABC7’s meteorologist, Spencer Christian, officially lights our Christmas tree for the first time this season. PIER 39’s Santa Salty Sea Lion mascot, will be available for photos as he strolls The PIER. Make sure to bring the kids to the Sea Lion Center to write a letter to Santa and to top it all off free Santa hats will be given to the first 500 guests that attend Premiere Night.

Enjoy the holidays all season long with The PIER’s nightly tree lighting musical moments on its 60’ Christmas tree which will come to life every half hour from 5-10pm, November 27, 2019 through January 5, 2020. Synchronized to holiday music, the tree transforms into a kaleidoscope of swirling colors, adorned with thousands of specialty lights and ornaments. These dazzling tree lighting musical moments take center stage all season long.

Get into the spirit of the season at PIER 39 while shopping, dining and strolling The PIER. Visitors will also enjoy local community Holiday performances, writing letters to Santa, holiday craft making and more!
