Honoring Native Veterans, Washington, Dc, November 11

This Veterans Day, honor the military service of Native American, Alaska Native Veterans, and Native Hawaiian at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. A presentation of the Colors by the Kiowa Black Leggings Warrior Society will precede a wreath-laying ceremony at the National Native American Veterans Memorial. During the day, enjoy a conversation with the Memorial designer, watch a short film, and take part in hands-on activities.
