8250 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas, 75206, United States Map

The impact of environmental hazards and climate change is far reaching but not everyone feels the effects equally. Three years following the release of the City of Dallas' first Comprehensive Environmental and Climate Action Plan (CECAP), come and hear from the City's environmental quality and sustainability director about community-oriented and data-driven solutions to addressing environmental and climate challenges on the local level. This dialogue, moderated by the Chair of the Dallas Environmental Commission, will also feature the founder of The Clean Energy Fund of Texas that aims to reduce greenhouse gases and address equity by financing energy and water conservation projects, facilitating the creation of more renewable energy, and investing in other decarbonization strategies. Last year, Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act that created $27 billion in green funds. Dallas' CECAP and The Clean Energy Fund exemplify how public and private efforts are creating healthier, more sustainable and equitable green economies and becoming catalysts for green jobs and green futures for everyone.
