Forest school based Summer Nature Camp for teens 13 to 17 years old, Galway County, West of Ireland.

45 mins drive south of Galway City, 2.5 hours from Dublin City.

This a residential camp, Teens will camp in segregated and chaperoned large bell tents, camping out the Tuesday night. TEENature is a camp-fire cooking, fully catered and Unplugged (no technology) camp.

Discounts for siblings, cousins and buddies are available if booked together (please contact us by email and we will arrange discount refund).

Bed & Breakfast for traveling students available for €25 per night before & after weekend in cabins and supervised by us.

The material covered in these weekends will incorporate an introduction to basic bush craft and survival skills.

And plenty of fun activities like:

Introduction to problem solving and team work by goal oriented games/missions.
Animal observation and tracking.
Tree identification and developing appreciation for their role in ecology.
Wood bush crafting skills using knives, saws and loppers.
Introduction to fire making and safety.
Basic shelter building for fun and survival, including foraging in nature for materials.
Mixed Martial Arts self defense class for boys and girls by Shaolin MMA.
Sand arena games - beach volleyball, badminton, football.
Introduction to wild food and plant identification and foraging.
Camp fire cooking and storytelling.
Stargazing and identification.
Exploration in and familiarization with woodlands.
Around the camp fire drumming.
