What's the best place to buy consumer electronics, PCs etc

Hi, I just moved to the Cote d'Azur and I will need to buy a new smartphone, PC and other electronic stuff.
In Italy I shopped mainly on mediaworld (i.e., Media Markt), Saturn, Euronics as well as other italian chains like Trony and Unieuro.
But it seems like none of them have a presence here in France, so can someone please tell me what's the best place to buy such stuff (good prices, wide choice, etc).
For the moment I only found Darty, and it's not very satisfactory (at least from what I can see on the website catalogue)
