Live Thrive's Kids Day--Earth Day Celebration

Live Thrive's Kids Day is coming up on Earth Day--Saturday, April 22 from 9am-12:00pm. The all-morning celebration is free to attend and features a variety of fun, engaging activities to get kids interested in recycling, materials management and living a sustainable lifestyle.

We're excited to hold it at our soon-to-open DeKalb CHaRM location at 1221 Columbia Drive in Decatur! The event is FREE to attend and includes tons of super fun, interactive activities for kids, including:
Atlanta ToolBank will be creating small make-and-take art easels.
Bee Downton will have honey samples, a live bee hive and more.
Children's Museum of Atlanta will be making seed paper.
Chick-Fil-A will be onsite with fun activities for the kids.
Georgia Tech's Solar Racing team will have their SR-3 Endurance solar racing car onsite.
Novelis will have "Can Man" onsite encouraging aluminum can recycling.
Old Castle Infrastructure will be working with kids to discuss how to keep stormwater clean.
Red Wagon Goats will have their super cute and friendly goats on hand ready to visit with the kids.
Re:loom will be demonstrating how a loom works and showcasing their products made from a loom.
Scraplanta will be creating arts and crafts projects from recycled materials.
Kids will also enjoy cornhole, chalk art, games, King of Pops and more!
