hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

Just got my visa from the embassy...got multiple entry visa and my ticket from my husband.
God's is soooo good!

It was so nice to read the thread of your informative comments here. I was so interested taking notes from it because me and my belgian fiancee are planning to get married here in the philippines early next year. We have known each other since 2010 but had serious communication early 2011. We have constant communication via internet, postmails, etc. And lately he came here in the philippines to visit me for a 3-week vacation from Sept. 15 to Oct 5.We have proven the feelings we have established from virtual connections. Though, since day 1 i have known him in the internet i knew i will have him a lifetime for real..By this, may i ask you to pls share with me the detailed process you had from applying for marriage until visa processing..

Check the staus of my visum - October 26, 2012 - status is In behanddingCheck again today November 03,2012 at 2:30am Status - AKKOORD!
Datum beslissing/Status Dossier: Oct 30 2012 or Date of decision / Status File: Oct 30 2012Haven't receive any calls from the Embassy here.
This is it His will has done!

Yes, girl, your age gap was not a problem. Just gather more proof and know everything about your fiancee' as in everything. God bless. i pray that God will guide you and may he give you more wisdom for all your preparation. Feel free to ask...:))

Depend how old you are and your fiancee'. What I've heard and base on how my interview goes. Age gap matters. They are strict if the couple has a long age gap. And how long your relationship was. If what you found is real love, then both of you should fight for it, show to them that it is real. Gather more proof and information regarding your fiancee and vice versa.
