You may not believe this but actually, Egypt is safer than USA! According to a new global poll, Egypt has been ranked the safest country in Africa and higher than both UK and US. The survey placed Egypt 16th out of 135 countries, while the UK was 21st and the US 35th. I would agree but I have to say its because I had one of the best tour guide who also offered private car service which made all the difference! His prices were affordable and he was honest, professional and I felt safe having someone trustworthy and reliable to translate for me and answer questions that the guidebooks couldn't. So yes with the right people to guide you, Egypt is a safe and wonderful place to visit!
