  Hi Tina!

  I am coming from the US to Aachen, Germany this summer for 3 months to do research at Aachen University. I am trying to figure out some housing costs, food costs, transportation costs, etc. Is it easy to find a flat/apartment/roommates near Aachen University? How much would it cost for 3 months? Do most people speak English in Aachen? Any other advice would be helpful to a student like myself!

  Hi Juan,
  yes it´s really easy to go to the Netherlands from Aachen. The next dutch city is only about 15min away (you can go there with the bus), and the next bigger city is Maastricht. You also can go there with the bus (you can buy a cheap ticket (1day- 2 persons) directly in the bus).
  It´s really worth a trip!!

  Hi Tina,
  thinking about going to Aachen I wonder how far it is from there to the Netherlands? Can you go there by public transport??
