Permanent Visa for Family (Yellow Paper)

โพสต์ใน ห้องสนทนา ซาอุดิอาระเบีย

Hello all, I just got permanent visa for my family and would like to share with you my experience so that it will help you all. Because I am from Pakistan I will be telling all the thing required for Pakistan, but I am sure it’s the same procedure in India as well as other countries.
• The very first thing you have to consider is the profession on your Iqama. It should be a supervisor category (e.g. Doctor, Engineer. Programmer, Accountant, Analyst.....etc.) In my case it was Computer Programmer.

• Second, your educational certificate (Degree/Diploma) should be relevant with your profession on your Iqama.

If you pass the above prerequisites, then you can continue to the steps below. If not, it is useless to every try to get family visa because you will be rejected straight away.
Following is the complete list of documents that are needed.
• Application form for applying for family permanent visa, this can be downloaded from MOI website. Its better if you get this attested from COC (Chamber Of Commerce), but it is not required.

• Letter from your sponsor written to the ministry stating your name (exactly as on Iqama), salary, Iqama number, nationality. It’s better to search for a format on the internet and give it to your sponsor. Most companies already have this format. This letter should be attested from COC.

• Your degree/diploma, this should be attested from the following

o HEC (Higher Education Commission) Pakistan
o MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) Pakistan
o Saudi Culture
o Saudi Consulate

• Your marriage certificate, attested from MOFA (Pakistan) and Saudi Consulate.

• Your B-Form for your child or children, attested from MOFA (Pakistan) and Saudi Consulate.

• Arabic translation of all these documents, attested from MOFA (Pakistan) and Saudi Consulate. Except your degree. You can translate if by an authorized local translator here.

• Photocopy of all the below documents

o Your Iqama
o Your Passport (front page)
o Your visa (the visa that was stamped on your passport for enter Saudia)
o Your wife’s passport
o Your children’s passport

• Once you have all the above document with you, go to MOI (in my case Riyadh). No need to write names, its not use. Just go there at 4:30 AM and sit by the grill, at 5:00 AM a man will come and give you tokens as the serial you are sitting in. Then you can go home. Come at 8:00 AM again and go inside. Wait for your turn keep your document ready. Once called just hand him over your Iqama and all the documents except your original degree, marriage certificate and B-form. He will go through the documents and if he feels like it he will ask you for original. In my case he did not ask for anything.

• After going through your documents he will ask you to wait, after 5 minutes your name will be called out at a counter nearby, just go and collect your yellow slip. Make sure to check your name, your dependents name, relation and city of issue (Karachi / Islamabad). If there are any problems ask them to correct it there and then.

• After you get the yellow paper send it back home along with original marriage certificate and B-Form. You cannot get it stamped on the passport until the visa comes online. You can check this by going to visa.mofs.sa website.

• The process to stamp the visa on the passport is very well and clearly defined in etimad website. https://www.etimad.pk/etimad/html/PK/English/visa_informatio
n.jsp

Please note the following.
• Accountants need a N.O.C from sponsor or also they need their GRO to be there.
• Medical professionals need their license to be attached with the documents
• Engineers need their letter from Saudi Council of Engineers
This is all my experience, your might be different depending on the mood of the guys there. But for me it was fairly easy and simple because I had all the right documents with me.
Feel free to ask for any questions if you have.

Regards,
Sameer Ahmed Khan
