Having worked at Iale Elians Bilingual school for the last two years I can say with all honesty that my experience has been nothing but positive. The Directors and staff are friendly and helpful and the kids level of English is great.
Before I came to the school I read some of the other posts on here and was apprehensive but when I arrived I was made to feel at home from day one. The teachers are a friendly bunch and there is always someone to give you a hand if you’re stuck with anything. And as a none Spanish speaker that is really important for me.
I have lots of time to socialise and go out and about, both at the weekends and evenings. We do get PPA time in school which is more than enough to get your planning and assessments done. And I get paid sick pay if I am off ill. They use the creative curriculum too which means there is freedom with planning and lessons to make them interesting and exciting for the kids.
I would recommend the school to anyone who is interested in doing something different with their teaching career.
