Hi,
My boyfriend and I are Australian and will be in New York City for Thanksgiving. We are 23 and 25 years old.
We would really like to experience a real American family Thanksgiving dinner and would like to know if you or anyone you know is interested in inviting us to share in your family Thanksgiving dinner just for the night?
We have our own accommodation in New York City, we just wanted to share in an American tradition and experience your culture.
We are happy to bring gifts from 'Down Under' if you are our kind hosts! :)

Missed the chance

Wow, sorry we missed this earlier and I hope you found and opportunity. We live in Upstate new York near Albany. We are currently on assignment in Kuwait but have a lot of family in the State including on Long Island (also southern CT) that would have welcomed you. No we are not missionaries or "do gooders" but we have no issue with sharing either. It is what Thanksgiving and the Holidays in general are all about. We should be back in the US mid-2011. If your still around next year, save our name for an open invite.
